Loved Loved Loved this book!!!! For those of you who haven't read this yet, although the movie was fantastic, the book is even better. I could not put this book down. I found it to be very insightful into the lives of black women before there was equal rights. There were hilarious and poignant moments. It was a fantastic book to start off with for my summer reading list.
For those of you who havent read the book, its about a white women who wants to be a writer and decided to interview the black maids in her community about what it is like to be a maid to white folks in their community.
